We can't say THANKS enough to our volunteer staff here at VineyardChurch.tv. You know that old saying "Many hands make light work"? The Vineyard wouldn't be the church it is today without these amazing people.

At the Vineyard we look at volunteering as a part of our lifestyle. Sure, we can give money and things, but there is nothing in this world more valuable than TIME. It's one commodity that's not renewable. Becoming a part of a volunteering team has some great rewards, for sure.

Think of that children's ministry leader who is teaching kids about God's amazing love, changing their lives forever.How about the setup team that gets the coffee brewed and snacks prepared, or the host team that greets you at the door and helps you find your way around? We wouldn't be the same without these caring people.

Have you ever said something like this?

• I can't volunteer because I don't know the whole Bible! That's O.K. we don't know everything either..actually no one does. You're secret is safe with us.
• If I volunteer, the church will abuse me and make me do something I don't like! Really, we won't. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your experience.
• Volunteering is tough work! Not when there are enough people willing to step in and help. It's more rewarding than difficult. Just ask a volunteer!
• If I sign-up for let's say... Kids' Church, I'll be stuck there forever. No way! Our desire is that you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. If you feel like trying something different all you have to do is ask and you can try something new or stop all together, we don't get upset about these things. Our main concern is you and your growing relationship with Jesus.

It's really lots of fun! Becoming a volunteeer is a great way to accelerate your growth in God. When we set aside time to give to people in need and show them God's love. You become a part of changing someone's FOREVER...!
